Mota, OD
Laredo born and raised, Dr. Mota always knew she wanted to serve her community. She had a passion for healthcare — but also for business, art, and fashion. Optometry turned out to be the perfect blend of all the things she loved.
She dreamed of a space that didn't look or feel like other doctor's offices — where an eye exam could become something enjoyable, something you might even look forward to. That dream is Punto Focal.

A life rooted in Laredo.
Dr. Mota co-owns Dosis Coffee with her husband — the same café that serves every client in the Studio. Her daughter Sol, born in 2024, was named for her love of sunny days. At home, she has three dogs: Harley, Salma, and Corndog.
She loves traveling, cooking, and creating — and it shows in the way the Studio was designed.
